Croutons with fennel seeds

4 slices of white bread, diced
a knob of butter at room temperature
1 Tsp fennel seeds
½ Tsp salt
4 Tbsp olive oil

Mix butter, fennel seeds, salt, and olive oil. Add the bread cubes, and mix thoroughly to make sure that every cube is lightly coated in the mixture.

Set aside for 5 minutes.

Preheat a large pan on medium-high heat. Add the bread cubes and toast until browned from all sides.
