2019-03-14 ・ Makes about 32 cookies ・ Source
Ingredients
125 g butter, melted
200 g brown sugar
1 egg
¼ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
250 g flour
200 g chocolate (ideally baking chocolate)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 190C. Using a sturdy wooden spoon, mix butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Add the egg and mix until homogenous. Add the flour to the bowl, then spread the baking soda and salt over the flour, making sure to distribute them evenly. Now mix everything together until homogenous.

Cut the chocolate into small pieces. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Take 20g of dough, form into a disk of about 5mm thickness. Gently press the disk into the chocolate chips so that one side is covered in chocolate bits. Then put it onto the baking tray, chocolate side up. Repeat until all dough is used up.

Bake for 12 - 14 minutes, or until the cookies are nicely browned.
